immunologist requires at least an additional nine years of training beyond a
bachelor’s degree. After completing medical school and graduating with a
medical degree, physicians undergo three years of training in internal medicine
or pediatrics and pass the exam of either the American Board of Internal Medicine
or the American Board of Pediatrics. May require at least 2-4 years of
immunology/allergy experience.
Reflection:
An
allergist/immunologist doesn't sound like the type of career I would enjoy studying.
It does sound like a very important job and the salary is not bad either but
what’s the point in studying something your heart doesn't desire. This topic doesn't interest me and I rather be happy with my job then be rich and depressed waking up to a job I dislike.
