"Be cool in school- live every rule."

                                                                          Mr.Haymore

Being cool in school doesn't necessarily mean you're cool because you are breaking the rules or because everyone knows you. This quote is stating that you should be cool by following all the rules that are given. You can't seem cool if you're breaking all the rules and being disobedient. In a teachers point of view or any adult if they see a student who can't seem to follow the rules, is always late to class never doing his work and ditching school they aren't going to think you are cool they're going to think you are a fool. Maybe you want to look cool with your friends but what good will that do if your choosing the wrong path.

                                     Counseling/Psychotherapy

Duties and Responsibilities:Psychotherapists use a variety of psychological techniques to help clients overcome psychiatric illnesses, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, addictions or obsessions. Psychiatrists may perform psychotherapy as part of their medical practice, and other careers that use psychotherapy.

Salary:

The salary varies on the title you majored in.

Education: Master's degree in psychology or one of the social sciences and complete a post-graduate internship. Some psychiatrists, with a medical degree and a license to prescribe medications, also perform psychotherapy, but the majority of psychotherapists are not medical doctors. After completing a degree program and an internship, a psychotherapist must obtain a license in psychotherapy or one of the therapeutic fields, like marriage and family therapy, licensed professional counseling, or clinical social work..Good verbal and listening skills are required, as the bulk of psychotherapy is a dialog between therapist and client. A psychotherapist must be skeptical as well as insightful, to see through the layers of clients' defenses and set therapeutic goals.

Reflection:  This is a career that interests me the most. I've always been the one giving advice with my friends and helping them out threw their problems because I have experienced more then they have. Studying psychology is one of my major not only because you get to help out other people but because you also can get benefits out of it. With your family or friends. You would have the knowledge to deal with problems throughout your day. Helping people physically and mentally is one of my goals and this career is one of my 100 goals.

"The best recreation is to do good"

                                                        William Penn
As how William Penn says " the best recreation is to do good". In order for you to understand what he is talking about you must break down his quote or define the words that seem to be the key term. Recreation, is when you are remaking something. If you are recreating something why not instead of it being bad you should do good as how William Penn states it in his quote. It's best to have done good in your life then the opposite of it.

                                        Student Success Statement
" Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often."

                                           Peter Vidmar
Sometimes people don't realize that as you get older things start to change. The way you think about things and what you truly want. For example there are many teens who choose the wrong and rather go out with friends to parties to smoke and drink but what will that truly benefit you. The only thing that it will cause is harm you. Instead of you going out with friends you should set your priorities straight and take care of the things that will benefit you when you're older. What you want right now at this age might not be what you have most desired. Things change and nothing stays the same. That's why you should pursue what will make you happy years from now.

Typical duties of a clinical manager include managing clinical, professional, administrative, and clerical staff; managing the recruitment, development of, and appraisal of staff; overseeing day-to-day management; developing and implementing policies and directives; setting and monitoring budgets; attending meetings; handling communications; and making purchasing decisions.

Salary:
$38,082 -$75,264

Education: You'll need to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a field like medical services administration or health care administration. Coursework in a relevant 4-year, bachelor degree program includes courses on health care law and ethics, healthcare financial management, organization and management in healthcare, information systems for health care, health care administration, and case management.

Reflection:  Clinical managers have a big important job to do. They are in charge of what is being done to make the life of the doctors and nurses easier. It says it in the name  manager. I had never heard of a career like this but putting thought to it it wouldn't seem like a bad idea to try it out. It's different and new to me and who knows maybe I might be pretty good at it considering I still can't find the perfect career for me. This career would be one i'll be willing to try.

                                  Chromotherapy

Duties and Responsibilities:  Chromotherapy, sometimes called color therapy, colorology or chromatherapy, is an alternative medicine method, which is considered considered  considered pseudoscience. Chromo Therapists claim to be able to use light in the form of color to balance "energy" lacking from a person's body, whether it be on physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental levels. Research has shown it is ineffective. Color therapy is distinct from other types of light therapy, such as neonatal jaundice treatment and blood irradiation therapy which is a scientifically-accepted medical treatment for a number of conditions, and from photobiology, the scientific study of the effects of light on living organisms.

Education:There is no standard education or training for practitioners of chromotherapy. Chromotherapy is not a licensed health practice in North America.

Reflection: Sounds like a interesting career to take up because you are working with colors and how some people can be affected by which mood or how they feel by only using colors. I read an article about chromotherapy and it was about a girl who had been depressed for quite sometime and didn't know what to do or take. She later on realized her room needed a new color and changed it to light periwinkle and in a few days she started to feel much better. This career would be something I would enjoy studying for.

" A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself."

                                    Noemi  Trigueros

Always choose the right no matter what the decision might be. You can never go wrong if you do the right thing. Things are much easier then when you choose the wrong because you won't have to worry about any consequences are bad things happening to you.  For example if you decide to lie to whoever it's going to affect you because you will not only lie once but you will continue to lie to cover up the first lie. It's unfortunate but true, that's why always choose what is best and never choose the wrong.

                            Student Success Statement

" You can't put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get. No matter what you set your imagination to, anything can happen."

                                                                   Michael Phelps
Putting a limit to yourself is as if you are stopping everything from happening. You are stopping yourself from creating a better person out of you. The more you dream the farther you get, if you are ok with just being an average person what are you going to get out of life. Nothing much really. People who tend to dream bigger achieve more things because they expand their mind farther then anybody else. They see what is beyond. If you get yourself determent to make something happen it will. For example, something simple you want to accomplish is to be able to score high on your tests. If you study every night and got to tutoring whenever you need it  the out coming will be you scoring higher on a test. If you choose to don't study and fail then you won't pass the test. It;s simple things like this that can affect you. That's why always aime big. Like Michael Phelps said anything can happen.

                                 Student Success Statement
"Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get."

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Mark Victor Hansen

The reason why Mark Hansen says that goal setting is goal getting is because if you had a goal a plan to achieve that means that is most likely to happen. How can you expect achieving a goal that you have not set. Sometimes you don't think about it daily so because of the fact that it is not in your head at the moment you won't be planning anytime soon to achieve it. For example creating a life planning goal is hard for me being i have never really take the time to think what is what i actually want to accomplish in life. Plan it out think about it and you'll see how soon you''ll start making goals and achieving them.
                                        Cellular Therapy
Duties and Responsibilities:In cell therapy, processed tissue from the organs, embryos, or fetuses of animals such as sheep or cows is injected into patients. Cell therapy is promoted as an alternative form of cancer treatment. There are two different categories that define cellular therapy. The first category is cell therapy in mainstream medicine. This is the subject of intense research and the basis of potential therapeutic benefit. Such research can be controversial when it involves human embryonic material. The second category is in alternative medicine, and perpetuates the practice of injecting animal materials in an attempt to cure disease. This practice, according to the American Cancer Society, is not backed by any medical evidence of effectiveness, and can have deadly consequences.

Salary: $37,000- $105,000

Education:   Activities in specific topic areas through enrollment in its subsections
A variety of electronic communications and resources
Access to AABB's peer-reviewed journal, TRANSFUSION
Standards for all aspects of product manufacturing and clinical activities.
Accreditation of cellular therapy facilities and clinical activity

Reflection: Unfortunately I don't find it interesting studying Cellular therapy. It's crazy how technology has been advancing so quickly and how now people are actually using cells of animals for medication for other people. Being in the medical field you need to be interested in biology and i'm not very good at that. That's why I know I wouldn't enjoy this job very much. It's a good salary per hour and also a year but money can't buy your happiness.
