 A broad range of medicine practices sharing common concepts which have been developed in China and are based on a tradition of more than 2,000 years, including various forms of herbal medicineacupuncturemassage exercise , and dietary therapy. It is primary used as a complementary alternative medicine.Traditional Chinese medicine originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years. TCM practitioners use herbal medicines and various mind and body practices, such as acupuncture and tai chi, to treat or prevent health problems. In the United States, people use TCM primarily a complementary health approach. This fact sheet provides a general overview of TCM and suggests sources for additional information.



Salary: Average $52,000


Education:students are immersed in the classical foundations of the medicine, receive a holistic education in Western medical sciences, and are trained in the clinical application of the major modalities of Chinese medicine.

      Reflection: 
                          Majoring in this career doesn't seem to grab my attention as I would want to. Yes, it's a new and different way people have been able to study medicine and even expand it more, But u feel like a career like this take a very long time to mange maybe every career does but this one doesn't seem to interest me. The average pay it really good and it even makes you rethink about it but i wouldn't want to be a Chinese Oriental.
