                                        Cellular Therapy
Duties and Responsibilities:In cell therapy, processed tissue from the organs, embryos, or fetuses of animals such as sheep or cows is injected into patients. Cell therapy is promoted as an alternative form of cancer treatment. There are two different categories that define cellular therapy. The first category is cell therapy in mainstream medicine. This is the subject of intense research and the basis of potential therapeutic benefit. Such research can be controversial when it involves human embryonic material. The second category is in alternative medicine, and perpetuates the practice of injecting animal materials in an attempt to cure disease. This practice, according to the American Cancer Society, is not backed by any medical evidence of effectiveness, and can have deadly consequences.

Salary: $37,000- $105,000

Education:   Activities in specific topic areas through enrollment in its subsections
A variety of electronic communications and resources
Access to AABB's peer-reviewed journal, TRANSFUSION
Standards for all aspects of product manufacturing and clinical activities.
Accreditation of cellular therapy facilities and clinical activity

Reflection: Unfortunately I don't find it interesting studying Cellular therapy. It's crazy how technology has been advancing so quickly and how now people are actually using cells of animals for medication for other people. Being in the medical field you need to be interested in biology and i'm not very good at that. That's why I know I wouldn't enjoy this job very much. It's a good salary per hour and also a year but money can't buy your happiness.
