              Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities. They collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities. Although the two occupations often work together, responsibilities of health educators and community health workers are distinct.

Salary: $48,790

Education: Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for community health workers.

Reflection:  Health educators seems like a fascinating career. But I personality would rather do this as my hobby because not only will I be helping others to have a good diet and eat better but I will also be informing myself about things I can do to stay healthy. The pay does not seem so good either and it took quiet some time to get it raised up because in the last two years it used to be a thousand dollars less than what it is right now.

                                            Student Success Statement

"The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."

                                                          Boyd K. Packer

As Boyd K. Packer said "the more obedient we are the more freedom we have". His very true about that because obedience not only comes from when you follow directions from your parents but a lot within teachers and in your community. For example if you are obedient when your parents tell you that you could only be out with you friends in a certain time and you follow the directions your parents will start letting you out more with trust because they know that if they ever say a time you will follow directions and be obedient. Not only does it work with people but also with teachers, if you listen to the directions and follow them teachers never give you a hard time because they know they don't have to waste time in telling you what you have to do. You'll have more freedom because they will know you would get your work done. That's why always choose the right because you will bring you nothing but good things.

                                          Student Success Statement
" The key to freedom is obedience"

Boyd K. Packer
This quote of Packer can be classified in many different ways. Obedience can come from anywhere in life. From work to school to your community and home. If at work you can follow the directions giving to you you'll be faired and no longer be able to pay your bill and other necessities. In school if you don't listen to the teachers you will not pass the class and fail. In your community if you can't follow the law you will be sent to jail and won't be free.
