Trauma Nurse
Duties and Responsibilities: Action and emergency situations are what trauma nurses live for. Trauma nursing, as a discipline, covers the content and process of all the various roles nurses assume when caring for a trauma patient. The title “trauma nurse” is given to nurses working in emergency wards and other hospital locations dealing with heavy situations. The common tasks of trauma nurses are to handle minor and acute problems, prepare patients for an emergency operation, and assist surgeons during an operation.
Salary: $60,000 -$90,000
Education:To land an entry-level position, you will need at least a two-year nursing degree. Acquiring an entry-level job as a registered nurse will give you an edge when starting out your career, only a few entry-level job RNs exist in trauma units. You need to have an experience in special areas such as intensive care nursing, before one can secure employment in a trauma unit. You will need to complete courses in physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, health promotion, ethics, and risk reductions. When applying for emergency nursing certification, you are required to have at least two years of experience in emergency nursing prior to application for certification exam. Once you obtained the required clinical experience, apply for an emergency nursing certification from the BCEN.
Reflection: Being a trauma nurse sounds like a difficult and responsible job you must take care off. In a way it's as if you were the second hand of the doctor. Like most nurses trauma nurse sound as if they had the harder job. The name pretty much says it all. Even though i wouldn't enjoy majoring in anatomy, pharmacology or ethics. This job seems interesting to me. The salary is not bad either and as test have shown by the year 2016 trauma nurses should be getting paid at least 23% more then usual because of how much they will need there assistance.

"Obedience is the great test of life."
Thomas S. Monson
Obedience is the greatest test of life that you would ever take because it’s the test that will show what kind of person you are. If you are an obedient person you would see that people will take you with more respect because you follow direction exactly as they are being given. Obedience is choosing the right at all times and that’s what you always want to do. That’s the reason why Thomas S. Monson has a point when he says obedience is the greatest test of life.

Biomedical Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities: Biomedical engineers combine biology, medicine, and engineering and use advanced knowledge of engineering and science to solve medical and health-related problems. Biomedical engineers design massive MRI machines along with the microscopic machines used in surgery. They research and develop prostheses, evaluate the use of artificial organs, and improve instrumentation used in hospitals and clinics.
Salary:$35,301-$64,528
Education: A bachelor's degree is the first step for engineers because most careers in the field require the degree as an entry level requirement. Biomedical engineers often combine formal training in mechanical and electronics engineering with focused biomedical training to operate confidently in the field. Unlike many engineering fields, many entry-level biomedical engineers hold a master's degree. Some schools provide undergraduate degrees in biomedical engineering and typical coursework includes instruction in neural engineering fundamentals; biofluid mechanics; engineering electrophysiology; diagnostic imaging physics; and drug design, development, and delivery.
Reflection: From the beginning I knew that being a Biomedical Engineer wouldn't be the career for me the title of it said it all. If I knew I was good in biology or anything related to science then maybe yes I would take it into consideration. But I know I'm not and I rather not struggle with it. I rather study something I'm good at and that i'll actually enjoy doing. I like a challenge but when I'm willing to put the effort in it and with this career I highly doubt I want to do it.

Reggie Bush
The ultimate best football player that had ever played in college football went from fame in one day to being nothing but dirt on the floor. Reggie Bush had it all, the fame, the money, the love of fans and the athletic skills to be top of top football players. It's unfortunate how such talent was lost because he couldn't stay loyal and trustworthy. According to records he cheating in the last few games he was playing for USC but it never really explains exactly what did he do to be kicked out of the football league for good and having to lose every trophy he once won. That's the reason why you should never choose the wrong because if you do everything will get lost. Maybe you might get away with it in that time but eventually it will all come back to haunt you. It's a sad story to tell. I feel really bad for him because of all that hard work he put in his team came all crumbling down.

What sums up our entire duty?
Student Success Statement
“Obedience sums up our entire duty”
Hosea Ballou
As young adults there aren't many obligations that we have. Usually the only once our parents give us is to finish school and at times help out around the house with chores. But obedience is what creates your entire responsibility. Even though it might not see so important to follow directions it is. If you have an obligation to attend school everyday and to graduate how can you achieve that without being obedient. This can also fall into the category with following your parents and finishing whatever chores they gave you.
Autogenic Training
Duties and Responsibilities: is a technique that teaches your body to
respond to your verbal commands. These commands tell your body to relax and
control breathing, blood pressure, heartbeat, and body temperature. After you
learn the technique, you can use it whenever you need or want relief from
symptoms of stress, or you can practice it regularly to enjoy the benefits of
deep relaxation and prevent the effects of chronic stress. Autogenic training
consists of six standard exercises that make the body feel warm, heavy, and
relaxed.
Education: Following an initial personal assessment you will
learn AT over an eight to ten week period, in one-hourly sessions for
individuals, or longer sessions when learning in small groups. Each week you
will learn simple formulas that can be repeated silently to yourself while you
are sitting down or lying in a comfortable position. Between the sessions you
will be asked to practice the exercise two to three times each day and keep a
record of your observations. You will learn to practice 'passive focus and
concentration through observing yourself in a completely new way.
Reflection: I actually find this career very interesting. This
would be a career I wouldn't mind to have considering it’s all about relaxing
yourself in case you have a big test coming up or something important. The
steps to it don’t seem difficult in fact they grab my attention. I wasn't able
to find out what’s the salary for people who do this for a living but whenever I
find a career I’m interested in I don’t really
focus on the pay because what’s the point in having all the money you can possibly
have but not be happy with what you do. I would like to be a autogenic trainer.

"The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."
Boyd K. Packer
As Boyd K. Packer said "the more obedient we are the more freedom we have". His very true about that because obedience not only comes from when you follow directions from your parents but a lot within teachers and in your community. For example if you are obedient when your parents tell you that you could only be out with you friends in a certain time and you follow the directions your parents will start letting you out more with trust because they know that if they ever say a time you will follow directions and be obedient. Not only does it work with people but also with teachers, if you listen to the directions and follow them teachers never give you a hard time because they know they don't have to waste time in telling you what you have to do. You'll have more freedom because they will know you would get your work done. That's why always choose the right because you will bring you nothing but good things.

Auricular Therapy
Duties
and Responsibilities: An acupuncture
technician, often called an acupuncture detoxification specialist, performs an
acupuncture treatment on five points of the ear. In traditional Chinese
medicine, all illnesses are believed to be driven by an energy imbalance in the
body. Acupuncture uses needles to balance the energy of the body's pathways. While
it can take 3-4 years for an aspiring acupuncturist to learn a wide variety of
applications, an acupuncture technician is trained for 100 hours or less in
just auricular acupuncture.
Salary: $38,000 – $137,000
Education:
To become an acupuncture
technician, you will need to participate in a program certified by the National
Acupuncture Detoxification Association. This program will teach you the five
basic ear points of auricular acupuncture. In a NADA program, you'll take a
30-hour didactic course and spend 40 hours practicing your skills in a clinic. You
should have a master's degree or higher and share these traits: Trustworthy:
You are known for your personal integrity and honesty. Independent: You enjoy
flying solo and doing things your own way. Detail Oriented: You pay close
attention to all the little details.
Reflection: Being
an Auricular Therapy doesn't interest me. Having to look into people ears and
using needles just freaks me out and makes me not want to do it. I also took
the test that they have online to see if that major is really for me but unfortunately
I scored low so I don’t think I would be good for this career. Situations where
you have to poke into something with a needle just isn't for me , it freaks me
out.

" The key to freedom is obedience"
" The key to freedom is obedience"
Boyd K. Packer
This quote of Packer can be classified in many different ways. Obedience can come from anywhere in life. From work to school to your community and home. If at work you can follow the directions giving to you you'll be faired and no longer be able to pay your bill and other necessities. In school if you don't listen to the teachers you will not pass the class and fail. In your community if you can't follow the law you will be sent to jail and won't be free.
Choose The Right!
Obedience: The practice of obeying a law or rule, or of doing something according to a tradition. Is a human behavior, is a form of social influence in which a person follows instructions or orders from another person. For example, in a situation when one orders a person to kill another innocent person and he or she does so willingly or something not so serious as that when your parents tell you to clean your room and you do as they say that is obedience. It doesnt have to be a person following the directions of another person it can also be you giving directions to your pet animal and they will fellow.

911 Memorial
In September 11, 2001, 19 militants
associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners
and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of
the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York
City. This cased our Twin Towers to collapse. Often referred to as 9/11, the
attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction. Over 3,000 people were
killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more
than 400 police officers and firefighters. This day was probably one of the
most upsetting days the United States could have had. Every year I think and
ask myself the same questions over and over again. How can there be such cruel
people out there? Why take a life of someone? It’s disappointing how humanity
has become, no longer do people use threatening words to you, now people hurt and
kill others for believes that make no sense. Whatever happened to living in
peace with one another and like one of the bible armaments say love your neighbor
above all things. May those who passed away rest in peace and always remember will never forget them.

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player"
John Wooden
It's far more important the person you are then what you do for a living. You can be the best basketball player anyone can possibly want but if you have a horrible attitude somebody is going to want to become a fan of you and look up to you. I've had many chances to meet famous people and the first thing i look at is if they are generous and kind with me because that's what mainly matters. What if your favorite basketball player can careless about his fan and you're wasting money going to every game cheer for him. It just wouldn't seem fair right? That's why it matters more who you are as a person then the best basketball player.

Salary: $33,097- $50,643
The annual salary for an Athletic Trainer varies depending on
a number of factors including industry, company size, location, years of
experience, and level of education.
Education: The minimum requirement for most athletic trainer
positions is a bachelor's degree. The curricula include science and
health-related subjects, such as nutrition, kinesiology, biomechanics and
exercise physiology. Experience requirements include supervised time in clinics
and internships, which may be with a college or local professional sports
teams. Students who want to become certified athletic trainers must earn a
degree from an accredited athletic training curriculum. More than 70 percent of
certified athletic trainers hold at least a master’s degree.
Reflection: Being an Athletic Trainer sounds interesting and
fun. Being in the field and caring for those who are injured sounds more fun
than having to sit around in an office waiting for patients to come. I've been
learning about being an athletic trainer in my sports med class so I’m familiar
with this career and although the pay may not be so good it’s still a career I wouldn’t
mind doing in the medical field.
